MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — From boots to snowblowers, Minnesotans and Wisconsinites are preparing for a return to winter-like weather. And, it’ll be here sooner rather than later.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for Saturday that includes a large portion of the state, from southwestern to northeastern Minnesota and into northwestern Wisconsin.

Forecasters say winds will also be gusty, producing wind chills in the 20s.

Bassman, I totally agree. We can comment on snow but not on anything else. This is getting really boring!

Twerp 13,
I agree with the 2nd part of your post.
It's unfortunate that some people couldn't follow the rules, therefore ruining it for the rest of us.

Dini79,
you are so right.....what an autumn we've had!

I keep checking to see where the snow is going to fall up north. They really did not know yesterday where most of it was going to be. It is supposed to warm up a bit so I doubt it will stay. But is sure is easier spotting the deer when its white in the woods. It has been a great fall so when the snow comes all we have to wait three or four months to see green again.

I so am not wanting it to snow, but this is Wisconsin after all and we have had a wonderful fall so far.
