Changing Wis. presidential primary up for vote
MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin’s presidential primary would move from late February to the first Tuesday in April under a bill to be voted on by the state Assembly.
The measure before the Assembly on Tuesday has already passed the Senate and is part of a move by the national Democratic and Republican parties to avoid front-loading state primaries.
Under the change, Wisconsin’s primary next year would be April 3, the same day as the spring election.
Iowa is scheduled to hold its caucuses on Feb. 6, followed by the New Hampshire primary on Feb. 14, the Nevada caucus on Feb. 18, the South Carolina primary on Feb. 28 and Super Tuesday on March 6.
Wisconsin’s primary will fall roughly in the middle of the pack.

Agree with Joy. I am tired of Iowa and NH picking the two we get to vote for and tired of BOTH left AND right media outlets only covering the major political parties. All states have should have primaries on the same day nationwide. This change along with term limits for congress and senate will go along way toeards fixing this country.

I'm tired of not getting the chance to vote for my candidate in the primary because other states have had their primaries and then candidates drop out of the race. It gives too much power to a few states. All presidential primaries should be on the SAME day across the nation so the nation can speak as a whole.

Might be old news about the State worker getting fired, but the since the State is trying to hide the fact that that the Voter IDs are free is still relevant, and many aren't aware of it.

Just a note about Scotty Walker's slime ball politics.
Voter ID's are free, but you have to ask or you'll be charged $28.00.
State employee was fired for sending out email about free Voter ID's.
