Actress stumps for Obama
JANESVILLE--Actress Tyne Daly stopped in Whitewater, Janesville and Beloit on Saturday to stump for President Barack Obama’s re-election.
Daly urged a crowd of about 100 Democratic supporters in downtown Janesville to work harder for Obama, saying the president brought the country back from the brink of disaster, and “he needs four more year to continue that work.”
Daly is known for her TV work in the 1980s TV series “Cagney and Lacey” and the 1999-2005 series “Judging Amy.”

+1 woods......and Romney was very clear in that clip that he was not in favor of a program that added to either our taxes or the deficit......I think that Obama's HCR with a price tag nearing $2,000,000,000,000 would probably disqualified from consideration based on that point alone......no??:)

Wasn't she a good actress at one time? I guess she became a kool-aid drinker.

Sorry Tyne, "Cagney and Lacey" was an entertaining show, but I'm not about to let a tv/movie actor/actress influence my political decisions. Hollywood and the District of Columbia are always competing for the most out-of-touch-with-reality constituents (on both sides of the wacko spectrum).
We've had Reagan, Eastwood, Grandy, Schwarzenegger and Franken in political office, and now Obama is striking back in the theaters http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2247692/ <shudder> What's next Nancy Pelosi in a remake of "The Revolt of Mamie Stover"?
"2016: Obama's America" is a really dull movie title, though. They will need to spice up the sequel title, maybe something like:
Washington: Rise of the Lichens
Dawn of the Democrats
The Dark Knight Fumbles
Pirates of the District of Columbia: Campaign Re-election Treasure Chest
I thought Washington is Hollywood for ugly people, but if the actors are crowding the politicians out of DC and onto the big screen, it's time to stop voting for actors for office. At least leave us the refuge of the silver screen.

There were Republicans there...Republicans for Obama. They look just like Democrats for Obama and Independents for Obama!
Republicans for Obama
"Although we have campaigned, worked for, and voted Republican all our lives, we recognize that President Obama is the right leader for our country at this time. Our current Republican leadership is unable to stand up to the most extreme elements in our party, no matter the circumstance. Meanwhile, President Obama has challenged his own party on numerous issues, including taxes, healthcare and foreign policy. President Obama has forged a pragmatic, common-sense path forward during a challenging time."

Interesting how there is never a mention of Republican protesters at Democratic events by this "newspaper." They don't give us liberals a chance to rip apart the Fist Amendment like the righties do. Darnie Shucks! OBAMA 012 !!!

Why not a pic of the Democratic event today, instead of Ryan on the left of page. ENOUGH OF HIM I do not care that he is from Janesville There are other people that are worthy of some decent coverage. OH I forgot it is about who this paper supports.
