City employees on paid leave, officials won't say why
LA CROSSE — Two employees with the city of La Crosse have been paid nearly $80,000 in the six months since they were placed on administrative leave for reasons officials still haven’t made clear.
The city says it can’t comment on personnel issues, but at least one of the employees say she still doesn’t know what policy she’s accused of violating.
