BREAKING: Four people injured in crash in Evansville
EVANSVILLE—Paramedics were responding to a two-vehicle crash at with multiple injuries and two people pinned inside, officials said.
According to 911 scanner traffic, Evansville Fire and EMS were sending ambulances and seeking assistance from other agencies for a two-vehicle crash at the intersection West Highway 59 and N. Old 92 Street at about 7:20 p.m. this evening.
Initial reports showed four people in the crash involved a truck and another vehicle. One person was injured in the truck, and three were injured in the other vehicle. Two people were pinned inside the other vehicle, according to scanner chatter.
Three people were being transported to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville, and one person was being taken by ambulance to St. Mary's Hospital, Madison, according to scanner chatter.
The spot where the crash happened is at an angled t-intersection on the south end of Evansville.
It’s not yet clear what caused the crash. Weather reports tonight call for a mix of rain and snow with temperatures hovering around freezing.
