Armed robber demands cash with gun

AFTON—The Rock County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that happened Wednesday night at the Friendly Village Bar, 5321 S. County D.
According to a sheriff’s office department news release, a black male entered the bar at 10:35 p.m. Wednesday, displayed a gun and demanded the bartender give him money from the cash register. When the bartender did so, the subject fled on foot without incident.
No other details are available at this time.
