The Gazette anticipates all newspaper delivery to customers outside the city of Janesville will be delayed significantly. In some areas, delivery of Friday’s newspaper may be delayed until as late as Saturday morning.

Delays also are anticipated in the city of Janesville.

Newspaper carriers who attempt delivery overnight or before roads are cleared are advised to exercise great caution.

Sorry I didn;t shovel yet. Had to go to work to shovel and clean 80 cars.
Thanks you for your service. On days like this it stinks. Lucky our sidewalk wasn't very deep.

Credit for late papers? If that is the case we should have a free newspaper every single day. Our paper man doesn't get here until 10am-12 each day.

The funny part about people complaining about not getting their papers on time is that they have complete access to the entire paper online with the e-edition. It is part of your subscription.

While our customer's papers may not have "made deadline" today, after a 2 hour journey they are finally all delivered. Since most city routes are now driving routes, they span anywhere from 100-150 papers daily over several miles. Our route took nearly twice as long as usual. Since it is a driving route with porch delivery including many special requests, we drove along from block to block dodging large piles of frozen snow in the middle of intersections that my vehicle certainly would not go through and then stopping at each house to deliver to the porch, paper tube, mailhooks, wooden box or where ever else you may have requested. Almost none of our stops had shoveled and then the city plowed the driveways in during the night requiring us to scale large mountains of frozen snow at the end of each driveway and either walk through drifted sidewalks or icy streets to get to other nearby stops. So, if you think you need a credit because your paper was late, go ahead and call and complain. I bet you didn't leave a card or tip for your carrier either.

Attaboy!
Thanks for being understanding!
While we know that YOUR world revolves around getting your paper ON TIME we hope that you may realize the impact that the weather is having on our delivery time.
How's that for credit?
