Man arrested after domestic incident

JANESVILLE—A Janesville man was arrested for false imprisonment and strangulation/suffocation, both felonies, following an altercation Sunday.
Adair Sanchez Cortes, 23, of 2521 Holiday Drive, Janesville, was arrested on the felony charges shortly after 10 a.m. at his apartment. He was also arrested on misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct and battery.
Police report a woman he knows found pornography on Sanchez’ cell phone and confronted him. A verbal confrontation turned physical, and Sanchez was the primary aggressor, police said.
