MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The governor’s office says Wisconsin’s exports have improved over the last year by several billion dollars.

Gov. Scott Walker’s administration said Monday that overall Wisconsin exports increased in 2011 to $22 billion. That’s more than an 11 percent jump from $19.8 billion in 2010.

Agricultural exports had the strongest growth, jumping by 18 percent to about $2.8 billion. The most valuable agricultural export was cereal grains, which includes wheat, corn and barley.

But industrial machinery exports still accounted for the bulk of Wisconsin’s exports, bringing in about $6.8 billion in 2011. That includes construction, farm machinery and refrigerators.

The state’s biggest market in 2011 was Canada with about $7 billion. Mexico was second with close to $2 billion.

liverpool- the way you address yourself with attempts to degrade fail and discredit you as intelligent as this is the way you conduct yourself.
Furthermore, Bush did start the TSA in 2001 and that does not change the fact that the Republicans today want to privatized the agency. Democrats say no, we have now unionized them and they will stay on the government payroll. BOOM!

Belagio_Bound: You said: "totellthetruth, that's exactly what I was thinking. They like to spew out anything that the left wing tells them is the truth without thinking for themselves. They are anti-anything that doesn't fit their mold." Funny, that's exactly what I would say for any Republican!

No matter if the news is good there are those on the Left side who have to make it negative. Guess it has become a habit with them.

A press release by Wanker's office touting a big uptick in exports from Wisconsin was clearly meant to mislead people into thinking he actualy had something to do with it.

Where did Walker take credit for the rise in exports?

If Walker exports 1 union worker with every piece of heavy equipment exported will that help to balance our state budget? Could Frontier Airlines be contracted to make special export flights to Canada and Mexico? Mr. Governor, please give Wisconsin citizens and cities some tax breaks. Also, bring in some jobs so we can afford to pay taxes!

MR- Im not being sensitive at all. I was simply pointing out that your post makes no sense. If you recall, all security screeners were private sector employees until 9/11 and you know how that turned out. George W. made them all federal employees. If you quit listening to right wing media you wont sound so ignorant.

It must really hurt to only have 300 people show up to a recall Walker rally.

Midnight- Did you read the article? It was about Wisconsin exports which by the way have nothing to do with Wanker. Wisconsin agricultural exports have everything to do with worldwide demand.

FYI MR-The TSA security screeners were created under W. In this instance the TSA screeners were told to let their female employee go home by the airline after the final boarding call. Nice try to discredit public employees with more lies. It just shows you have a lack of integrity just like your boy wanker.

WI biggest export seems to be jobs. But hey--the eagle scout said so--must be true.

Airlines have to cut jobs because the Government run TSA won't let women fly when there is not woman TSA agent to pat them down. More freedoms, taken slowly by the left.
Republicans want to have security run by private companies that actually have to be held accountable for their actions.
Democrats don't care about public freedoms, just union employees. Bye-Bye Frontier jobs.
