Authorities investigating death of Milton man
MILTON—Authorities are seeking the public’s help to learn details in the Thursday death of a Milton man.
According to the Milton Police Department:
Police were called to 20 ½ N. John Paul Road, Milton for a possibly dead male at about 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
There, officers found Mark R. Buchanan, 31, in the bedroom of his own home. The Rock County Coroner’s office later pronounced him dead.
Milton police are not releasing details in Buchanan’s death, pending an investigation. Milton Police Chief Dan Layber said that Buchanan showed no obvious signs of trauma or a violent death.
He said that a toxicology report is pending, and that results of that testing are expected within three weeks.
