MADISON, Wis. (AP) — With a week to go before the recall vote, Gov. Scott Walker and Democratic challenger Tom Barrett are both out campaigning.

Barrett scheduled four stops Tuesday with former U.S. Sen. Russ Feingold in Baraboo, Wisconsin Rapids, Marshfield and Green Bay.

Walker planned to make a campaign stop at Husco International in Waukesha in the morning and then hold an official groundbreaking and jobs announcement for Ashley Furniture in Whitehall.

Tuesday is also the deadline for both Barrett and Walker to submit their latest campaign finance reports which will show money raised and spent from April 24 through May 21.

Walker has already reported raising $25 million since he took office. Barrett has raised about $1 million for the recall.

Outside groups have spent tens of millions more on the race.

Motoman, you make me laugh. You have nothing intelligent to say, so you call me names like a 5 year old. Face it, I won this argument and I am right.

Ok,facist. You really make me laugh with your dumb comments. So Gov. Walker made a promise and months into his term, you are ready to get rid of him. How soon were you ready to get rid of Pres. Obama after his first few months?

What is wrong with budget cuts? What is wrong with having a balanced budget? You act like making any cuts is evil. Our state is now in a better financial condition.

What is wrong with union employees paying into the system? You act like the right to collective bargin is a God given right! If so, please point this out in the Constitution and the Bible.

The train line will never work. People will not use it. Why waste government money? Oh wait, you and your fellow liberals just like to spend other people's money.

Your other points are childish and show you lack of real understanding of the world.

I could continue but I think I have made you look foolish enough.

Motoman, so you feel you should spend money without a plan as to how to pay for it? You feel it is ok to spend money even though you are in debt? You think it is ok for thousands of people to pay nothing for health care?

Please think before you make any more foolish comments. Your ignorance is showing.

Motorman, with your twisted logic, you feel it is ok to spend money on anything, even if we don't have it. So we the people should be able to hold elections whenever we want, even after an elections were fairly held, spend money on anything we want and recall any elected official if we don't like what they voted on?

And damn the cost! Right? Someone else will pay for it. Is that how you raised your kids? Is this how you run your house?!

Facist, what has Gov. Walker done a "terrible job" on? Take out Act 10. What else has he done to warrant recall? I will admit that Act 10 has saved taxpayers money and made everyone more fiscally responsible. How is this bad?!

Ultimately it look like Walker is going to beat Barrett by about the same margin he beat him in the regular election. If that should happen it really confirms all the problems that many had with this recall over public policy to begin with. Walker’s reform was hardly that controversial (http://bit.ly/pXbwCd), and for that matter there have always been divisions in Wisconsin (http://bit.ly/KRmScq). In the end it seems like this recall be remembered as a huge waste of time and money.

Mouse, please get an original thought before you post on these boards. All you do is link liberal slanted articles and blogs. Face it, Gov. Walker has done a good job for the state. Why won't you admit this?!

Wislady- I am not a hunter so, beyond the overpopulation of deer, this has no effect on me. That is why I asked for opinions. I said nothing about being for or against it. I don't know what to think of it and I want to learn more about it from those who may be in the "know".

I DO know that this article is NOT a total lie as James Kroll HAS been appointed a position by Walker.

I am just looking to be a more educated voter on all issues.

If Barrett opposes vouchers, why does he send his children to private schools?

I can't believe the "Walker" supporters are not embarrassed by the way he did NOT answer questions during the debate! Then to have the newspaper report that his "facts" were false! He's a snake. He only will talk to groups who are full of his supporters and he will NOT take any questions from the reporters and half the time they are not invited to attend. Wise up people....RECALL WALKER....

wislady, Is it that hard to understand that the voucher system is away to create rich private schools and poor public schools? The voucher system will allow private schools to pick and choose who they allow in! Low income student with a troubled past? Sorry we can't let you in! Special needs student, sorry we can't accomodate your needs. Parents not able to donate time, sorry but you don't meet our requirements. This is the highest example of class warfare! Maybe you're in a different tax bracket than most? If you think private schools are going to just let anyone in you better get your head out of your a**!

Fedup, do you believe that a newspapers endorsement reflects the readers opinion too? The Journal Sentinel came out and endorsed Walker but I highly doubt that the majority of the readers in Milwaukee support or will vote for Walker, but the editorial board decides it. That simply means that the editorial side of the paper, which is different than the news side, endorses the person.

Shouldn't poor people be able to send their kids to private schools? The Barrett children don't attend the public schools.

Why would Barrett be against the vouchers?
