MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A government watchdog group says outside groups have spent more than $21 million in Wisconsin’s gubernatorial recall, bringing the total spent on the race to more than $61 million.
Republican Gov. Scott Walker faces Democratic Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett in Tuesday’s election.
The Wisconsin Democracy Campaign reported Thursday that Walker has spent $29 million, Democrats including Barrett have spent about $4 million, outside groups have spent $21 million and issue ad groups that don’t have to disclose their spending have put in at least $7.5 million.

The top spender is the political action committee operated by the Republican Governors Association with $8.7 million.

The second biggest spender is the liberal Greater Wisconsin Committee, which has spent $4.8 million.

This country is heading towards another civil war. The only difference is instead of this being the North vs. South, it will be Republicans vs. Democrats! Our entire politican system in this country is a corrupt joke!

Today's exposure of left wing hypocrisy by motorman, who quipped about name calling saying the following "Demorats? really that's your childish name calling level of discourse?" The best part is this posters latest comments also included these classic nuggets:

"drool boy Walker"
"you're a bigger idiot..."
"small minded selfish drag"
"corporate lapdogs"
"The Botox needle went in to deep, that explains Diane"
"you are a boring repetitive parrot"
"Why is our Governor Stupid meeting with Alice Cooper"

Just a continuing saga how the left wing wants others to do things they themselves never do.

Motorman, I totally agree with your 9:14 post. Unfortunately, it will not happen.

War is expensive.

Walker declared war on the citizens of Wisconsin.

Walker does not care how much it costs. After he loses, he will get a job as a lobbyist, consultant and he will be paid to give speeches spreading his message of hate and divisiveness. That is the message that plays well with all to many.

Walker created the mess that we're in. He purposely left the Police and Fire unions out of the mix because he knew there would be trouble. He planned it and it happened. He "divided" but hasn't "conquered" yet. Hopefully he won't.

What's your next move when Walker loses?

A waste of money that Walker could have averted, and walked away a winner in many peoples' eyes, AND with no chance of his recall, or that of any of the others. But his arrogance just couldn't let him do that. To deny that this was ENTIRELY Walker's own doing is to deny reality.

Despite announcing his willingness to negotiate with unions during his election campaign to help balance the state budget, Walker began drafting Act 10 to strip collective bargaining just days after his election November 2010. In January 2011 and unbeknowst to everyone else at the time, Walker told Diane Hendricks he was going to "divide and conquer" the opposition constituency. Later he boasted to David Koch about dropping the bomb and that he thought about planting troublemakers among the peaceful protesters at the Capital. There are no known meetings or recordings of Walker exercizing the negotiation option with union officials since his election.

You can't blame Walker for this??

Lunacy.

This isn't charity money, it's investment money.
Outside interests are counting on having the state handed to them on a silver platter
for their millions of dollars in support.

Poobah: You can't blame Walker for this. It was the Union who pushed for this recall. Such a waste of money all around.

On Tuesday night, all right-thinking Wisconsinites will have a chance to say no to threats, bullying and bomb dropping and to take a stand against division and conquer — not for a party, but for the Wisconsin Way.

Vote Barrett - Mitchell

How does the Janesville Gazette feel about this? Do they support this kind of irrational spending that shuts out the voice of the average person? It would be great to hear their perspective on it since WMC was part of this spending I believe and Mitch Bliss is on the WMC board......
