WEST ALLIS, Wis. (AP) — President Barack Obama and Republican Mitt Romney both have Green Bay Packers joining them on the campaign trail.

Former quarterback Bart Starr appeared at a rally for Romney on Friday in the Milwaukee suburb of West Allis.

Starr told the audience about a book written by late coach Vince Lombardi titled, "What it Takes to Be Number One." Starr says the book points to integrity and excellence as key attributes, and Starr says he can’t think of stronger words to describe Romney.

One day earlier, before Obama spoke to supporters in Green Bay, cornerback Charles Woodson praised the president for his bipartisan approach in providing storm relief on the East Coast.

Other speakers at Friday’s GOP rally included Sen. Ron Johnson, Gov. Scott Walker and Republican National Chairman Reince Priebus.

winterstinks, you're right... let us vote for good... for creating jobs in China while we pay no taxes hiding profits in the islands... beautiful.. I'm all for a job creator as long as they are created in the U.S. ! Call me patriotic.... but Mitt is a joke. You guys hate flip floppers, look at his stance on the issues.... WOW!!!

Some of us have managed to climb up out of the hole that Bush left us in,
but it appears that there are others who want to wallow in self-pity
and blame the president.

How would anyone benifit from Mitt? If anyone has a clue fill me in. He's only interested in his Wall Street Goons interests. Creating jobs in America? He didn't seem to care when Bains been outsourcing to China all these years. And could you believe he wants to trim FEMA!! Oh but because of Sandy he's flipflopped once again on that issue. Obama is a far better choice than Flip Flop Mitt.

Hey Bart - Read what ROMNEY SAID about the clean up after Hurricane Sandy.

ROMNEY SAID - "CLEANING UP HURRICANE SANDY IS LIKE CLEANING UP AFTER A HIGH-SCHOOL FOOTBALL GAME"

Yada has just explained the philosophy of the left with a single post. Since when has a fact EVER began with the word "maybe"? Kinda like lawmakers (Kerry) not understanding the difference between rights and privileges.

Forgive them, they know not what they speak...

All those hits to the head seem to have impaired his judgement. Also explains his 52-76-3 record as head coach.

NO THANK YOU!
I don’t want Romney’s version of change including:
A severely conservative Supreme Court.
Tax and jobs plan that doesn’t make mathematical sense as most experts say.
1% percent control of the nation
Leader who says “corporations are people”, and puts the needs of corporations before the people.
Higher taxes for middle class and lower taxes for the rich.
Medicare taken bankrupt in 2016, as reports indicate
Overturn of Roe vs Wade and return women’s right to the 1950s
Leader who condemns 47 percent of Americans
Leader with hot and controlling temper who is eager to start war against Iran.
I’m very pleased to stay with reliable, proven Obama-Biden who are taking America FORWARD!
