Springsteen: 'A world that challenges hopefulness'
MADISON, Wis. — Rock legend Bruce Springsteen joined President Barack Obama at a rally in Wisconsin, playing the anthem "Land of Hope and Dreams." He said Monday that after Obama ran on an optimistic message of change in 2008 he now faces "a world that challenges your hopefulness."
Springsteen was spending the final day of the presidential campaign with the president, traveling with him on Air Force One and opening rallies for him in Madison, Wis.; Columbus, Ohio; and Des Moines, Iowa.
Aides say Springsteen sat with Obama on the flight to Columbus and discussed the recovery effort in New Jersey following the East Coast storm Sandy.
Springsteen joked in Madison that while he's proud to be endorsing the president again, "that first debate really freaked me out."

The Black Panthers are "monitoring" polls in Philadelphia today...looks more like intimidation to me. They got by with heavy handed intimidation in the last election because Holder and Obama gave them a pass.

That's not much of an endorsement for the man who has been president for the last 4 years.

I don't understand why celebrities are constantly criticized for supporting what they believe in. Bruce Springsteen would certainly be among those who would be paying higher taxes, but he still supports Obama because he knows what is right.

The Obama campaign is on life support. Why else would Barry Obama need the BOSS to help him out?

I can't wait for the election to be over! Not sure why people think because someone is talented to sing/play music or even act that it automatically makes them a worldly person and I should listent to ever word they say! They have a talent and they should stick to that talent!

Too bad his slogan didnt read "A world that challanges hopelessness"...
We live in a day and age of the entitlement era...where more people want to ride in the cart vs. pull it. To quote Dinesh D'Souza...Obama deamonizes the persons contributing and champions those along for the ride...
"Learned helplessness is the giving-up reaction, the quitting response that follows from the belief that whatever you do doesn't matter."
