MADISON—A Milwaukee judge is set to sentence one of Gov. Scott Walker’s former top aides for doing campaign work on the taxpayers’ time
Kelly Rindfleisch pleaded guilty last month to one felony count of misconduct in office in a deal with prosecutors.

She faces up to three-and-a-half years in prison and $10,000 in fines when Judge David Hansher sentences her Monday afternoon. Prosecutors have said they won’t seek restitution and will recommend jail time rather than prison, but the ultimate decision will be up to the judge.
The 44-year-old Rindfleisch served as Walker’s deputy chief of staff during Walker’s tenure as Milwaukee County executive in 2010. Prosecutors accused her of working on Republican Brett Davis’ lieutenant governor campaign on county time.

How do you feel about money laundering? Thank goodness, Mitchel Mahlon is not our Lt. Governor! All involved in this scheme should have been charged with felonies, NOT given a "deal" by the Feds.

"In a deal recently made public, the Federal Election Commission fined the Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin and 11 of its former board members a total of $58,000 and banned them from running for leadership posts in the union for varying lengths of time for "knowingly and willfully" violating campaign laws and regulations"

Why won't restitution be sought? Jail time means a sentence of a year or less. She should have to pay restitution AND serve a 3 year prison term. When you commit the crime you should do the time.

The liberals are worried about 2016, sounds like a movie.

Dems want to go backwards, then they want to go forward....but seldom do they want to deal with the PRESENT.

And YES "Walker was accompanied by Diane Hendricks" during his recent speech at Reagan Pres. Library in CA.
It did not take Walker long to PUT ROMNEY down about losing the election.

Her original charges and then dropped to ONE! http://www.wispolitics.com/1006/_120126_..... Landgraf declined to comment on why the plea agreement with Rindfleisch did not include a requirement of her continued cooperation with prosecutors or whether that was a subject of plea negotiations.

He said, however, that she may be called as a witness in the criminal trial of another former Walker aide, Timothy Russell. Russell, who also worked for Walker at the county, is accused of embezzling more than $20,000 intended for veterans. Russell stole from money raised for Walker's annual Operation Freedom picnic at the zoo, according to a criminal complaint.A position he was appointed to by Walker.. All involved lead to Who???
