MADISON—Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan will be hosting a fundraiser with Senate candidate Tommy Thompson on Oct. 14.
Thompson’s campaign on Tuesday announced the event to be held at the Harley Davidson Museum in Milwaukee. More details about the event, including the price of tickets, were not immediately released by the Thompson campaign.
Ryan is also holding a fundraiser Saturday night in Milwaukee.

Thompson faces Democrat Tammy Baldwin in the race for Wisconsin’s open U.S. Senate seat.
Thompson says in a statement that he is proud to have Ryan “help rally the people of our great state on my behalf.”

Interesting how you never hear comments like this about Obama or Biden holding all those BIG FUNDRAISERS ATTENDED BY THOSE RICH PEOPLE THAT ARE RIPPING OFF EVERYBODY. Guess it is perfectly alright since they are Lib's. Have noticed how alot of Obama's rich donors have managed to get more money back then they put in.

Yep. It's sad seeing so much ignorance passed around. It's like listening to Obama voters.

theone....I think you missed the sarcasm presented by fschultz. Hardtobelieve tried to make a joke regarding predicting obama's victory in tonight's debate. The only problem is that there is no debate tonight. Both the ignorance and sarcasm were funny though:)

Hardtobelieve - you know that Thompson never worked as a lobbyist right? If you believe everything in political commercials I have an Island to sell you for a great price.

I say let his lobbyist friends and the drug companies he helped, pay for his campaign. BTW, Obama won the debate being held tonight by a landslide. Just thought I would get that in before everyone else starts telling us that their candidate won no matter what. :)
