Did Tagg tell as many lies in Janesville, as his father, Mitt, did at his first debate?
Read about some of the more than 27 Mitt Romney debate lies that leading media have reported on:
MITT ROMNEY’S TOP DEBATE LIES AND DISTORTIONS
1. Romney said Obama is “cutting $716 billion from Medicare.” FALSE
http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/fact...

2. Romney said there are 23 million Americans out of work. FALSE, the correct figure is 12.5 million, or about half that number.
http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/U/U...

3. Romney said there is no tax provision that gives companies a tax deduction for moving jobs overseas. FALSE
http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/fact...

4. Romney said that Obamacare “puts in place an unelected board that's going to tell people ultimately what kind of treatments they can have.” FALSE. The law explicitly prohibits the board from rationing care.
http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/U/U...

5. Romney disagreed with Obama saying that Romney planned a $5 trillion tax cut over the next decade.” HALF TRUE. Romney does plan such a cut, and Politifact said Romney hasn’t explained how he will fully make it revenue neutral.
http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/...
http://www.latimes.com/news/politics/la-...

6. Romney accused Obama of double the Federal deficit. FALSE.

wislady, prove that the Romney's have donated a good amount for many years. And prove that the Romney's didn't increase their charitable spending in 2010 and 2011 from previous years because they knew they'd be releasing just two years of tax returns. Show us the Romney's tax returns for many years...make that 12 years.

What? You only have them for 2 years? I wonder why? While you're at it, ask Mitt to cough up his FBARs too so we can all take a look at how many tens of millions of dollars he has stuffed away in foreign banks.

Wislady - President and Mrs. Obama donated $172,000 to charity in 2011 with the majority of it going to the FIsher House Foundation. Fisher House provides free or low-cost housing to families of military members receiving treatment at military medical facilities. The Obamas made $789,674 last year. The Romneys made $20,900,000.

Tagg was here as mentioned to see the 47% that his dad talks about. Then he was going to talk to WALKER about the 37,000 job gain over 12 months in Wisconsin - which ranks WI 37th in private sector job growth in the U.S. Maybe he can use some of the Walker Criminal Defense Fund for public relations - why not - Walker did.

It is so generous of you to be the judge of whether I am basing my opinion on what you think is a lie or not. But I will play along, you asked for one, how about a few. I agree with the President on health care. I don't think the ACA goes far enough to reform insurance companies but it's a start. I agree with his stance on unions. I agree with him on gay rights. I agree with him on his plan to recover the economy and believe that we are on the right path. And perhaps the most controversial of all, I agree with him on immigration. As for Obama's lack of bipartisanship, I do want him to work more with the Republicans, but it isn't a one way street, they have to be willing to bend right back.

Wasp , I am not sure where your "facts" come from but a little research turned this up fast

In his book, Who Really Cares: The Surprising Truth About Compassionate Conservativism (Basic Books, 2006), Brooks discovered that approximately equal percentages of liberals and conservatives give to private charitable causes. However, conservatives gave about 30 percent more money per year to private charitable causes, even though his study found liberal families earned an average of 6 percent more per year in income than did conservative families.

You are either misinformed or a prevaricator I will assume the best for you. gw bush 291 executive orders. President Obama 138. Also on charity I believe that studies show tha liberals give a higher percentage of their wealth to charity than conservatives. I think you might find it interesting that some of rmoneys charity was to a family trust ( his sons ) that eventually wound up in his sons business.

Midnight Ride - the probem with your statement about half your allowance - is Mittens and his kids don't pay anywhere near 50% tax that many working people and small business owners pay (like me).

Even the "takers" as dumb Mitt calls them pay 5.65% OASDI MED, 7% sales tax, vehicle tax, property tax, tax on fuel etc. Many pay a higher % overall tax than the plutocrat Mitt.

And Mitt and Tagg are the ones that can afford to pay a higher rate. Yet, they plan to lower their own taxes, while sticking it to the working person and small business owners.

Midnight, the Democrats had "complete" control, meaning a super majority from Jan 2008 until Ted Kennedy's death in Aug. After that they lost the super majority and a filibuster could then be used. It's a total inaccurate statement to say that they had "complete control" when they only had a regular majority not a super majority. The 111th had a record amount of filibusters where the minority was the Republicans :http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2010/12/111th-senate-breaks-one-filibuster-record.php?ref=fpblg

You talk in such broad statements that are your opinion that are not based in fact and you have avoided my question. It's this type of thinking that promotes stereotypes. Do some liberals meet the definition that you describe, sure. Do some conservatives do the same? Of course. Are there the majority that fall somewhere in between? YES. It's completely unfair to any group to say they are all like this.

Are you willing to admit that both sides are the problem? And I think you have made the mistake of assuming I am a liberal. I am an independent and have shown that I am more than willing to post my voting record to prove it.

Liberal as in the far left wingers mostly posting. Conservatives by title are more "liberal" with their own money giving to charity and their time. Liberals are more controlling with power and greed which is not something you are born with.
People are by nature compassionate and loving and like to enjoy what they earn.
They balance their household budgets they are responsible. (In general)
Liberals in government today uses the words mandates and taxes a lot. Their is a lot of warfare now with the left and don't seem to think success is an achievement we all strive for.
So you tell me. Why is okay as a liberal to take other people's money or mandate me to purchase a product or stop me from buying a big slurpy?
