Biden to visit Ryan's home state, again
MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Vice President Joe Biden will be campaigning in Wisconsin on Friday, the day after his debate with Janesville-native Paul Ryan.
President Barack Obama’s campaign on Tuesday announced Biden’s plans. Other details, including where he would be in the state, were not released.
The stop is a mirror of what Obama did last week, when he attracted 30,000 people on the UW-Madison campus the day after his debate with Mitt Romney.
Biden was last in Wisconsin on Sept. 13 when he held a rally on the UW-Eau Claire campus.
Obama opened a double-digit lead on Romney in Wisconsin in September, but no public poll has been conducted in Wisconsin since his widely panned debate against Romney.

"no public poll has been conducted in Wisconsin since his widely panned debate against Romney."

What? How did the left leaning AP not read the released results from the left leaning PPP?
"Raleigh, N.C. – - PPP's newest Wisconsin poll finds a big debate bump for Mitt Romney in the state. Two weeks ago he trailed Barack Obama by 7 points there, 52-45. Now he's pulled to within two points, with Obama's lead now just 49-47.
There's not much doubt it was Romney's strong debate performance on Wednesday night that's given him this boost. Voters think he won the debate by a 61/25 margin, including a 60/19 margin with independents..."

Just watched a PBS show about both Obama and Mitts lives growing up and getting to this point. It just re-affirmed why I won't vote for Mitt. I do not think he will help anyone except his rich friends or Mormon church.

ND, I can only hope people wake up and realize what a terrible POTUS this guy has been and will do if he gets a second term. God help us all.
Well said.

Joe, Ya gotta live here to get as smart as Ryan (except for those inside Dane county). Just visiting won't do it.

None of the swing states is a shoo-in by definition. Wisconsin is only 10 electoral votes but that's ten you don't need to get from someplace else. Obviously Romney has had a little poll bounce from the first debate (of three), but those rarely last long and almost never change the outcome of a race.
.
It's also easy to read too much into the attention paid to the battleground states, a group that seems to get smaller every election -- it's just the only place the candidates go. Seriously -- they are not running ads in local media, they are not polling or push polling, the are not showing up, they are not sending surrogates if you are a completely red or completely blue state at this stage in the campaign. The difference in attention is like night and day.

Obama facts...we are better of now than when he took office (I know I am and everyone else around me is also), he is not responsible for the economy before he took office as his job is to repair the gross damage that was done, and the Keystone pipeline is a sham on our health and the environment, so don't fool yourselves into thinking tar sands extraction is great for the economy. We need regulation so polluters and cheaters don't get rich on the backs of the working class, which is what will happen is Mitt gets elected (I puked a little right there)...

It's interesting to see Obama maintaining a 323-215 lead in the electoral college projection (no leaners, 270 needed to win) despite the temporary bounce Romney has seen. It confirms the long-held belief by many political strategists that Romney simply has no realistic path to an electoral college victory. [ http://core.talkingpointsmemo.com/electi... ]

your priceless JC, all polls showing for Obama are BS and yet Dems should pay close attention to polls showing Obama struggling... which means he's now ties with Mittens.... I'm sure you get all lathered up in Mom's basement figuring out how to constantly defend the right... those of us on the outside see through the lies...

I don't believe any polls showing Pres. Obama in the lead as the Democrats seem very concerned about Wisconsin.
Walker's recall victory is still very fresh on all our minds and we are still just fired up as in the 2010 elections to stop Pres Obama's second term radical agenda.

Obama should send Biden on some super secret mission overseas until after the election. I think Ryan will turn him into creamed corn during their debate.

I wonder if General Motors will bus employees in from Fort Wayne to attend the rally, or if this will be another 4-5 attendees outside the Labor Union office again?
The Democratic party should be concerned about the most recent Rasmussen poll. Romney is tied with Obama nationally at 48%:

The Democrats are down 2 points (49% for Romney to 47% for Obama) in the swing states today: ihttp://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/obama_administration/daily_swing_state_tracking_poll
