Kolste-Knilans debate rescheduled
JANESVILLE The Janesville League of Women Voters announced Tuesday the debate between Rep. Joe Knilans, R-Janesville, and Deb Kolste, his Democratic challenger for the 44th Assembly District seat, has been rescheduled for 7:30 p.m. Monday.
The debate will be held in the program room of the Hedberg Public Library, Janesville and is being sponsored by the league, Forward Janesville and JATV.
The had been scheduled for Oct. 2 but was cancelled after Knilans withdrew, saying he had another “campaign-related event.” At the time, campaign manager Tyler Wenzlaff refused to specifically identify the event that created the conflict.

Here's what I know about Joe Knilans. After being burned by so called conservative Republicans at our Voter Education Rally in 2010, I removed every republican candidate sign from my yard then emailed the campaigns and told them if they wanted my vote they could damn well explain to me why I should choose them to be my employee. Rick Richards answered via email w/in hours. Joe knocked on my door the very next day and sat talking to me for over an hour. What I heard convinced me that he would be the best choice. Before requesting that I receive no more mail from the Dems, everything I received regarding MS. Kolste indicates to me that she stands for every liberal concept that I most abhor. And btw, I handled the candidate invitations for that rally. I mailed invitations to the 2 parties on the same day from the post office on Milton avenue. Not ONE democratic candidate bothered to answer. Tim Cullen showed up near the end, and was offered a chance to speak(despite not having paid the registration fee) and declined, indicating that 'these people hate Democrats' -- a quote this paper refused to use because Mr. Cullen denied it.. thus calling the old schoolmate who made the offer a liar. Guessing this comment will be deleted pretty quickly

Great, so Joe has a few extra days to make up more lame excuses when he backs out of this debate. How about, "My dog ate my speech" or "My alarm clock didn't go off" or "I got a flat tire", the possibilities are endless.

I'm sure he'll do just fine, unlike most of your hero here Obama did last week. I for one can't wait until this Thursday night when Paul Ryan mops the floor with Joe Bidden, should be very entertaining!

Wonders,
A hammer is a blunt instrument, not the sharpest of tools. Is that what you meant?, if so I agree

So the left of Janesvillean really comes out there. Of COURSE he is a tool; he is a tool for the district. Just as a hammer is a tool to a carpenter.
How about get off your horse and blog something worth reading.
