MILTON—A barbecue joint on Milton’s west side keeps getting the shake-and-bake treatment by burglars, police reported.

For the second time in a week, someone entered Buckaroo’s Barbecue, 231 Front St., Milton, through a window, stealing booze and cash.

The Milton Police Department reports that sometime during the overnight hours between early last week and Thursday night, a person entered through a window in the back of the building and took several bottles of liquor.

On Friday night, thieves struck the restaurant again. This time, they made off with about 15 bottles of liquor and an undisclosed amount of cash from the restaurant’s till, Milton police reported.

The first burglary happened during a span of days last week during which the restaurant was closed for summer hours, police indicated. Friday night’s burglary happened after 9:45 p.m., apparently after closing hours, police reported.

Both burglaries are under investigation.
