UPDATE: Volunteers tell how to help Edgerton family displaced by fire
EDGERTON--In the wake of a fire early today that left an Edgerton family of 13 displaced, local volunteers are rallying to help the family.
Edgerton resident Victor Gonzalez said his family has been buoyed by a wave of support from the community as residents, local agencies and city officials have donated clothing, food and shelter to his family, which includes 11 children between the ages of 2 and 19.
The family was displaced when a fire devastated their three-story, 5,000 square-foot Victorian home at 211 Albion St early today.
Local volunteers have established a fund at Associated Bank to help the Victor Gonzalez family recover from the fire that seriously damaged their home at 211 Albion St., Edgerton. People can donate to the fund by visiting any area Associated Bank.
Fulton Church’s Facebook page also will post updates in the coming days on how people can help the Gonzalez family.

The Gonzalez family is one of Edgerton's finest and this is a sad day for them. They have done so much for Edgerton that I am sure the community will rise to this challenge and support them any way they can.
