Rock County Sheriff's Office to experience phone outages
JANESVILLE—Landline telephones at the Rock County Sheriff’s Office will be down for routine maintenance from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23. Those who need to contact the office during that time should call 608-290-0411.
Nonemergency information regarding the sheriff’s office can be obtained during the outage by calling the 911 Communications Center at 608-757-2244.

There is quite a bit of programming that goes into the county's phone system. This does not happen very often so it is not an issue
