Sig; I apologize, but I was out there today at 5am too; i HAVE been out there in the past at 2am or 3am if I needed to alongside my neighbors some of whom are police so I think there are these exceptions to any noise ordinances. Call them if you like. I don't think they'll ticket anyone. It's not like it's blaring (c)RAP music at 3am. Yeah, they should put pillows on the snowplows too to quiet them down. We all must understand that it's part of living here; this IS Wisconsin! I live near a school, if I don't do it before I go to work; the students might be more likely to slip/fall. Mow whenever you want. I can close my windows. We are a community and all have different needs, work hours etc. If you can't handle it, move to the country. FYI: If you're MY neighbor and I'm out there that early snowblowing, I usually do YOUR sidewalks too..so maybe you CAN sleep in. PS: try earplugs.

I'm sorry Sigma40 that was my husband. See he works for a living, got ours done prior to going to work. He also went and did his 76 yr old mothers as well BEFORE HE WENT TO WORK. Sorry if you cant sleep through a little noise now and then. Hope you have a great day!!!!!

crawl back in to you hole sigma. You have no idea what the word respect even means. If the neighbors waited until after work to take care of the snow your lazy butt would probably be wondering what the ordinance is on how long after a snowfall one must do their walks.

The plow truck went by at 6:45 this morning. What's up with that? It usually goes by in the evening just after I'm done shoveling.
Must have had extra coffee this morning...
