RACINE, Wis. (AP) — A Racine County judge is allowing a man accused of assaulting an 8-year-old neighbor to stay in his home.

Sixty-year-old Robert Lambkin is charged with first-degree sexual assault of a child. He allegedly molested the girl Feb. 12 while she was walking through an alley near her Racine home.

A court commissioner set a $10,000 signature bond for Lambkin Feb. 13 and ordered him confined on house arrest, noting Lambkin walks with a crutch and has heart problems.

But The Journal Times reports (http://bit.ly/YM7J27 ) prosecutors later filed a request that Lambkin change residences because the girl had panic attacks from hearing his voice while she was outside.

On Friday, a judge ordered that all shades be drawn inside Lambkin’s home and he cannot venture out if the girl is outside.

So what are we saying here something is not right here. Let me see if I understand this correctly. He sexual assaults a girl that he is neighbors with and is now allowed to be out on a signature bond and and has to keep his shades drawn and can't venture out side if the girl is out. Of first of all what will stop this guy for going after his victim he live near? Anyone in Racine County going to take responsibility if he goes after here again? To me this whole thing just dose not sound right.

Whatever happened to the Johnson (company) family member who had been accused of molesting a 12 year old girl over a lengthy period of time? Was the issue resolved out of court? I missed the follow up story on that incident.

I am not a lawyer or a judge and I will not say if I agree or disagree with what the judge did, but isn't there something in our legal system about "innocence until proven guilty"?

There is something wrong with this judge. Maybe the molester should move in with the judge instead of being allowed to live next door to his young victim.

How will he know if she's outside? All his shades are drawn!
