JANESVILLE/BELOIT—Agencies from Rock County will be involved in rapid deployment training Monday and Tuesday at Emmanuel Free Methodist Church, 4224 Whilden Court, Janesville.

According to a Janesville Police Department news release, several area law enforcement agencies will practice rapid response and deployment exercises during the training.

This will involve the swift and immediate deployment of law enforcement personnel to ongoing, life-threatening situations where a delayed deployment could result in death or great bodily harm to innocent people.

A planned emergency management training exercise also is taking place today in Beloit.

According to a Beloit Police Department news release, the exercise will be in the area near the intersection of Henry and Glen Avenues, in an unoccupied area of the Eclipse Center.

There is no danger or reason for concern as this is a planned exercise between local and regional emergency responders.

The area of operation will be well marked. There are no planned disruptions to traffic on the roads in the area or to normal operations at the Eclipse Center.
