Winter weather advisory issued
SULLIVAN—A winter weather advisory has been issued from 3 p.m. Tuesday through 6 a.m. Wednesday.
According to the National Weather Service, Sullivan: A band of moderate snow will spread into southern Wisconsin late Tuesday afternoon and gradually spread north into east central Wisconsin Tuesday night.
Snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches of wet snow are likely with northeast winds up to 30 mph.
The wet snow will result in slippery roads and some travel difficulties while strong northeast winds will cause drifting snow.
This advisory means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties when roads will be snow covered and visibility will be limited.
