Gov. Walker plans China trip
MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Gov. Scott Walker says he’s heading to China this spring.
Walker’s office said he’ll embark on a trade mission to the country on April 12. Members of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation and Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection will accompany him. The itinerary calls for visits to Beijing, Shanghai, Hefei and Harbin. The group is scheduled to leave the country on April 21.
Walker’s office said the trip is designed to reinforce and expand trading partnerships in the country, which is already Wisconsin’s third largest export market behind Canada and Mexico. The state moved nearly $1.4 billion in exports to the country in 2011.
Walker’s predecessor, Jim Doyle, traveled to China on trade missions five times during his two terms.

Belman - Agreed! I'd like to see Obama and his family stay in DC and not make two trips to Hawaii for vacation. (2) 14 hour each way round trips with Air Force One and numerous trips with multiple C-17 Air Force cargo planes to transport everything it takes to protect the president.

Scotty just wants to see how all the good American jobs, ones that he and his "job creating" buddies shipped overseas, are doing.

"Latest word is that the Chinese want to quiz Walker on how to deal more harshly with labor in their country."
You're seriously comparing the labor abuses in China to Wisconsin's public employees having to cover a small percentage of their insurance premiums and pension contributions? Just when you thought the comments from the anti-Walker crowd couldn't get more stupid!

Yada, so what does your post have to do with him going to China to better our China exports? The top site you refer too says the infomercial Chris was a billionaire and then countered itself by saying he made a gazillion dollars selling china trinkets in the US. So which is it? I read that like it was hear say and couldn't produce actual numbers. How much did he make from outsourced sales and how much of his fortune is from products made within the US? Numbers, show us numbers and where they came from. I consider myself a pretty open minded person but what you refered too is hear say! Show an actual spread sheet with facts and I'll listen but until then its just hear-say!
I also expect to hear a post from Mouse about Koch or some other billionaire Walker is in bed with! I guess I kind of get a kick out the Mouse's posts because nothing contains anything remotely close to being positive on anything or anyone. Nothing but insults and complaining from the Mouser!
