TOWN OF ROCK—A Janesville man was arrested Friday night on suspicion of fourth-offense intoxicated driving after bar patrons reported he was doing doughnuts in a bar parking lot.

Rock County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Christopher M. Hartke, 42, Janesville, shortly after 9 p.m. Friday at Willowdale Saloon, 5905 Highway 11, town of Rock, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.

Deputies arrived at the bar and took complaints from patrons who saw the incident. One woman said her car was damaged by flying gravel.

Hartke was inside the bar when deputies arrived, but a bartender had refused to serve him, according to the news release.

Hartke also was arrested on charges of reckless driving and operating after revocation. He was transported to the Rock County Jail and is scheduled to appear Monday in court.
