Four suspects arrested in Rock County home invasion investigation
Police have taken into custody four people they suspect were involved in a home invasion Friday night in the town of Fulton.
Arrested in Lake Delton on Monday afternoon were Christopher A. Kimps, 24, Whitewater area; Jesse D. Adams, 22, Beloit area; Kayla L. Pearson, 21, Janesville, and Sarah H. Buckingham, 20, Monroe, Sheriff Robert Spoden said.
Rock County Sheriff’s Office detectives with the help of Sauk County Sheriff’s Office deputies and police from other local agencies arrested the four after the stolen car they were driving was spotted in the Wisconsin Dells area.
The search included a helicopter and K-9 units, Spoden said.
Police were called to a report of a home invasion at 10:54 p.m. Friday at a home on West Miles Road in the town of Fulton, which is south of Edgerton.
The homeowners reported that two white males entered the home, held a man and woman at gunpoint and demanded access to a safe, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office. They left in the homeowners’ pickup truck with about 30 guns and an unspecified amount of cash, according to the news release.
The truck was found Saturday in Janesville.
Rock County investigators are working with Walworth County investigators to determine whether the suspects could have been involved in recent burglaries in Walworth County, Christiansen said. The suspects are not at this time connected with other home invasions, he said.
