Girl injured after truck rolls at I-39/90 overpass
JANESVILLE—The Janesville Fire Department reports that a teenage girl was hospitalized this evening after her pickup truck rolled on an icy highway overpass on the city’s north end.
Details and weren’t immediately released, but the Janesville Fire Department confirms that a pickup truck was found rolled over and resting against the guardrail at the overpass at the Interstate 39/90–Highway 14 interchange at 6:36 p.m. tonight.
The crash left the truck’s driver, a 17-year-old girl, hospitalized at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center with minor injuries, according the fire department.
The fire department reports that light snow and light winds tonight have made overpasses and other patches on the interstate icy and treacherous.
