MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Republican Gov. Scott Walker has been asked to join Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper and others invited to speak at a meeting of a national conservative lobbying group in March.

Walker is just one of several prominent speakers invited to appear at the Conservative Political Action Conference organized by the American Conservative Union between March 14 and March 16.

Also asked to speak are Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich and Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal.

The American Conservative Union says the three-day meeting will include speeches, policy discussions and networking opportunities focused on “smaller government, a strong national defense and traditional American values.”

The group was founded in 1964 by William F. Buckley.

No reply from wislady, but thank you, Bowlgal, for acknowledging that she brought up the stupid teleprompter argument, once again. Aside from your words and beliefs, I'd bet you're a little better than half-bad.

Oh for the love of God is this how low the liberals get. Fighting with wislady about a teleprompter. They all use them but why does the Pres need one to lie to the American people. Everytime the man goes off Prompter, his true agenda is revealed.

Now, Scott Walker is a shining example of cuts and glory. He took on the mob union and won. He made changes to our state and we are better for it. He is the perfect man to speak for all conservatives.

wislady, Badger is right. There were clearly two teleprompters, one on either side of him, during his State of the State address. You can still claim your statement to be true, however, if you don't believe that his speech had any substance. And please get off the ridiculous teleprompter stuff. Obama isn't the only politician who's used a teleprompter. Do you think George W. Bush could have gotten through a speech without one? Remember when he had to answer questions from the press? "Strategery", "Is our children learning?", "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice.....w-w-w-w-won't be fooled again!". So please stop with that stuff. Doesn't make you sound smart. And I'm gone again. Later.

wislady: I watched Walker's "State of the State" message on PBS. What were those things in front of him during his speech? Sure looked like teleprompters to me. I (unfortunately) won't be going to his conservative gathering speech. Why? They forgot to invite Michelle Bachman. LOL!

Walker is one of the best Conservatives to speak. Not only has he done good things for Wisconsin despite recall waste of timers and Benghazi Barry's left wing anti-American agenda, he's got 29 other Governors following his lead. Sure to be one of the 2016 Presidential candidates.

Mouse may be gone but Yada alias lives on. Radical and off base as usual, not to mention hyprocrite to Obama. Just like Obamacare, focusing on guns and not the economy and jobs first. Romney was right again.

He should stay in WI and be working on the JOBS he keeps talking about.

Walker claims - "Wisconsin has created just under 100,000" jobs since he took office - NOT!
