Missing Iowa man found safe in Wisconsin
A man reported missing from Newton, Iowa, earlier today was found this evening in Jefferson County, according to a Wisconsin Crime Network alert.
The missing person alert for Junior W. Fowble, 82, was cancelled at around 7:15 p.m. Wednesday when Fowble was located in Jefferson County.
He had been spotted in Janesville at 1:40 p.m. at Kwik Trip, 3359 Milton Ave., Janesville. He left the store’s parking lot at 1:30 p.m. and headed north.
At 8:11 a.m., someone reported seeing Fowble in Madison, where he had run out of gas, according to crime network alerts.
Family members had last seen Fowble Tuesday while his wife was being taken to an Iowa hospital by ambulance. He was following the ambulance in his truck but did not arrive at the hospital.
