Mary Merg made a last-second 3-pointer to send Friday's game to overtime, then beat the buzzer again to lead UW-Whitewater to a 64-62 victory over Amherst in an NCAA Division III semifinal game at Holland, Mich. The Warhawks will play for their first NCAA title in program history tonight at 6 p.m. They'll face the winner of DePauw and Williams College, which played later Friday night. UW-W trailed by 12 points with three minutes remaining, leading to Merg's heroics. She finished with 18 points, going 3 of 4 from beyond the arc. Warhawks senior Cortney Kumerow led all scorers with 19 points and added 10 rebounds. Lisa Palmer also posted a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
