The Wisconsin football program will open its 2015 season against Alabama, currently the two-time defending BCS champion, at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The school made the announcement Wednesday afternoon. "As a league we decided we needed to upgrade our non-conference schedule," UW Director of Athletics Barry Alvarez said in a UW release. The game's time and television situation have not been determined. "This is a tremendous opportunity for our team to open the 2015 season against a nationally recognized SEC opponent," UW first-year head coach Gary Andersen said in the release.
