Wrong ballots mailed for Delavan City Council races
DELAVAN--An error in the Delavan City Clerk’s office meant more than 100 absentee ballots mailed out last week listed the wrong city council races.
After sending out a second round of ballots with the correct council elections, the city now hopes voters will send back the right ballot before Election Day on April 2.
Delavan City Clerk Sue Kitzman said the mix-up happened when she incorrectly coded labels on 106 vote-by-mail absentee ballots, which were sent out March 11.
As a result, voters in one city district received ballots that listed a city council race happening in another district.

Maybe they will find the time to get the voting rolls purged, as required by state law.

The GAB needs to get a handle on things, and get the clerks up to par on procedure and accuracy.
