Will economic development initiative help Rock County?
On Thursday, leaders unveiled an initiative called Rock County 5.0. It is designed to support the Rock County Development Alliance and its five partners with five key strategies for the next five years. You can read more about it here.
Is it what this county needs to get back on track? Will it be enough? Does it come soon enough? This will be the topic of the Gazette's editorial Sunday.

of a Million dollars has been reached.

Perhaps, if we can truly come to terms with and perhaps even eventually even embrace the concept of locally stockpiling nuclear and medical waste products.

There wasn't much detail in the article to give a real opinion. However, ANY effort at this point is welcome with open arms in my view. Janesville's only other option is the Big Dig of an ice arena plan.

It's hard to say if anything concrete will come of it, but the main aspect of note is the increased countywide cooperation.
