The sidewalks committee has been discussing alternate funding methods for both installing and repairing sidewalks in the city of Janesville. Do these make sense? This will be the subject of The Gazette’s editorial Sunday.

How can we better protect the children?

Last week, Kathleen and Martin O’Brien of the town of Bloomfield were arraigned in Walworth County Court on charges of abusing their adoptive children. These aren’t the only cases of child abuse around here. What can be done? This will be the subject of The Gazette’s editorial Saturday.
