Gearing up
We've had three nice days in a row for the first time in I don't know how long, and it's made me feel like spring planting is on top of us.
I know we're a little bit out yet, but I also know it will be here in two shakes of a lamb's tail.
I've put some calls out to people who can talk about data going into this year's growing season. But I'm going to need more than numbers.
This is my fifth spring at the Gazette, so I know from experience that local news editor Sid "Never Take 'No' from a Reporter" Schwartz will ask if we can get pictures of someone getting machinery ready.
So, I'm going to try to surprise him with an answer to his question before he asks it.
Who's been out and about getting things greased and oiled or just pacing until the ground dries?
I'd love to stop out for a visit. I promise to stay out of the way and not take up a lot of time.

Well we are almost done with planting now, thank GOD for the 3 day window we had! The weather has been great, and we are done with Pioneer, Monstano, and the rest of the custom work!

That's true, callit.
But, I've already written a little bit about that project. I think readers might want to read about something other than the Rock Prairie Dairy.
