A honey of a story idea

I just got off the phone with Deb Gegare, whom you might remember as the 1985 Rock County Honey Queen.

What? You didn't know Rock County had a honey queen?

I didn't either, but it was a fun conversation.

I talked to Deb about her leadership role with the Milton 4-H Club's drama program. 4-H drama (the theatrical kind, not the other kind) is one of the things I'll be writing about from the fair next week.

Like a good 4-H'er, I am allllllllmost ready for the fair. I have a few loose ends to tie up, but, for the most part, I know what I'm covering and where I need to be next week on the fairgrounds.

Of course, it's not too late to make requests. If you think I need to watch a particular event or activity, feel free to let me know about it.
