Opening Day Live Blog
So here we are. The day we started counting down for on Peace & Glove beginning last December.
I know some people probably think I'm a bit of a dork, but I have been up since 4 o'clock this morning just itching to get the day started. At least I had Sammy and the "Cheers" gang to occupy my time.
The soon-to-be Mrs. and I are headed to Miller Park with The Bullpen and his better half for some tailgating and an afternoon of Brewers baseball. When I tailgate, especially on opening day, I insist we get there when the lots open. The group I attend with annually take pride in the amount of time we've spent tailgating waiting for the lots to open! We are leaving for Milwaukee as soon as I post this and the live blog will begin!
What you see below is a live feed from my Twitter timeline. I will be tweeting all day from departure until (hopefully) the "Ax Man" comes in to close out an opening day victory! This one I promise won't end with a stolen bike.
Any of my personal tweets and anyone whom I retweet will show up in my timeline. If you are already on Twitter you can follow me @timmyt3477 and join the fun. I may also be checking Peace & Glove from time to time, so feel free to leave any feedback here as well.
Thanks for following along, I hope you enjoy and, as always, GO BREWERS GO!!
-------Tough game but it is what it is. 161 more!! Thanks for following along and thank you to those who tweeted with me!! Hope you had fun!!

I'll believe Mr. Braun and his history over your assumptions.

And then there's the one that he didn't pass Kid. #8, it's OK. Just step up and all will be forgiven. It had to have been leaked for reasons that we'll never know. Until then I will keep my Brewers hat but I'm not sure if I'll ever be a #8 fan again.
There was another Brewer who hit the vices of a very illegal drug in the early 80s. That was Paul Molitor. You'll say this is - apples and oranges (you usually do) with one exception...The one thing I admire about Pauly was that he admitted to his use, he got help, the fans forgave him and he gave us some great baseball memories for another decade in Milwaukee before he left to grab his ring in Toronto.
It's hard to doubt a positive test...refrigerator and all. It only takes one positive test. That's all I have to say about this Tim. We'll never agree. I hope you continue your enjoyment watching #8. Personally, I won't...and yep that's fine.

Just like we have the option to de-friend we can absolutely de-fan as you seem to be doing. That's fine. Be advised good or bad I'm not afraid to post what comes to my fingers even if that borders on rude. If you truly hate that it was leaked and you truly want homers to prove that he didn't cheat, then you would stop making insinuating comments about the alleged steroid use an give him the opportunity to prove himself(as if the 1st 7 years an 25 passed tests didn't). If you don't mind a typed exchange with me, or if you put a cubs hat on, then please...continue...

Kid (AKA Tim), I'm just not sold on the fact that he really "passed" his test. Homers can defend the legalities of the #8 case but the testing facility is the best in the world. Oh, my reference to Lance and #8 was about doping. I'm just not sold...I wish the leak would have never happened but it did and I don't know if I can root for #8 like I did in the past. Something just doesn't sit right with the whole thing and that something is coming from the #8 camp. That's just my opinion. Again, I wish it would have never happened.
As far as my hobby, it's legal and yes I love my hobby and share my ups and downs with friends in my hobby. It's changed my lifestyle. Those who don't care for it (like you) can always click de-friend...and you did. That's cool.

And besides...having an alter ego is one thing. Hiding behind it is a dif't story altogetha..

You don't need to do that to share your hobby stuff. You may want to if your hobby stuff is illegal and you just want to highlight the ignorance and hypocracy of it, which I don't think it is. I would suggest doing that however if you are going to continue to make stuff up and don't want to be called out on said made up stuff.

Sorry Tim. I need to use an alter ego to share my hobby information like someone else I know.

Lighten up, we all need levity in our life.
You too Steve!

Steve: You are literally making stuff up. Labored?? They hardly run out there, and when they do its a sprint. Need some cardio?? My guess is Mr. Braun is as healthy and in shape as anyone...only he doesn't feel the need to tell everyone about it.

Tim, he looked like he labored in the outfield. A little cardio help from Lance would go a long ways.

Good point Steve. I think the whole idea behind the testing is a dumb one anyway, like a cart pushing a horse; as Lance has proven.

Why does the media push sports? It just seems hitting a ball with a stick and catching it seems like it wouldnt be worthy of reading about.
